I have been working on this quilt since I found out my daughter was pregnant. My grandson Alex is now 11 mos old. I want to give it to him for his first birthday on February 17. The only thing I am not happy with is that the stripes in the border should be mitered but I didn't know how to do it so I did it differently.

That is so cute!!! Mitering would have nice but I think it looks great!

How cute is that? It's going to be his favorite blankie! He's getting old enough to cherish it now. Way to go grandma!

That is one adorable quilt :thumbup: :thumbup: The border looks as if it has already been trimmed. If so, you may not have enough length left to miter the corners. I wouuldn't worry though, as it is a great quilt already. Pam
