Both quilts are really Lovely! I really like the 1st one! Hope the love you put into his quilt will help him throught this rough time!!!!! Also what pattern is the 1st one?

Thank you all so very much for your kind comments and the prayers for his other grandma Lizzy. She has been battling cancer for a few years now.

The pattern is a free download at Red Rooster Fabrics on line. Go way back into the archives and you can download it free. It is called, Rhythm and Blues. I would love to see this in another color, like a neon green or a bright yellow.

Love this quilt, too. I've been thinking about making a quilt similar to this for about 3 years; maybe this will inspire me!

Thanks for sharing your pics, he looks so proud of it. You brightened his day in such a trying time. Both are beautiful, but like many I favor the 1st one. Prayers for him and his family.
