    Talking Grandson's quilt

My DIL is expecting a son in May and so I have ordered this fabric to make him a quilt. Don't have a plan yet, but the creative juices are starting to flow. I'll just be glad when the fabric gets here

That's going to be one fun quilt, please don't forget to post pictures (especially if they also contain the sweet little bundle after he gets here!)

Wonderful! I hope you plan to buy Hands, Fingers, Thumbs by Al Perkins. Some of the lyrics are ... many more fingers, many more thumbs, many more monkeys drumming on drums. I read that over and over to my kids and then to my grandchildren. We made quite a big to do about it.

I used that kit for my older granson and added a few more rows to make it bigger. I added turquoise and orange minkee to it. Be sure to use a walking foot, and use the basting spray as it says. I have made 10 of these and learned the hardf way how to make it easier. Good luck.

    Love the monkeys.
No matter how tough life is, it sure beats the alternative.
