I did quilt them together but not as much as I would have if they had not already been partially quilted. I quilted along the lines of the Syracuse pattern in much of the border which didn't show up too much in the baseball side. And on the big S, where I had used strips of white under the orange, every place there was a joint in the white, which is every corner of the S, I overcast the white edged going through both layers. I figured that was the equivalent of tying. I also quilted baseball bats in the dark brown baseball side which went through to the plain dark blue but didn't interfere too much. lol It was a challenge!
