After I got this home from the quilter, we discovered 2 blocks (adjacent to each other) had been turned a quarter turn Off. After a lot of thought, I decided to trace the quilting pattern on the backing, then picked out all the quilting on the 2 blocks, ripped them out of the quilt top, turned the blocks correctly, and then hand stitched the blocks back into place. I then turned the quilt over and re-quilted those blocks following the pattern I had traced earlier. It is not perfect quilting, but it really is had to find where I fixed it. I'm happy with the end results. My grandson and his wife will be happy to finally get their wedding quilt so they can put it on their bed, in a room with a lot of purple in it (Go Kansas-State Wildcats).
