This is a quilt I made for my nephew in the Airforce. All hand pieced and hand quilted. Though I did machine on the binding.

I've only been quilting for a short time and with each quilt I learn a little. On this one I used fairfield 80/20 and I'll have to say that I love the way it feels once it is quilted and washed. Gives a bit of crinkle, but has a bit of fluff to it too. It is a little harder to needle than wool, but not too bad. I think this will be a batting I will use again because I like the finished effect.

What a nice range of bright colors, and the black really does make it POP! And a nice bit of colors for a man's quilt, he'll love it.
