Green softens the over all effect. Brown adds to the contrast. Both are lovely choices. Nice bunch of fabrics you've picked out for the plates.

Personally, I much prefer the green. It lets the block shine. The brown screams at you and that's all you notice....way too much contrast with the other colors. Good luck on choosing:)
