Wow, what a work of art. It is a lot of work and so good to recognize that. Love the little yellow squares peeking out.

Thanks Everyone - Mom has made quilts for more than 50 years, all 4 kids have at least one hand quilted quilt, all the grandkids have at least one, the great grands are getting machine quilted She hand quilted everything until she had a shoulder injury which made that almost impossible. She used her mom's quilting frame which still stands in Mom's house. About 2 years ago, she opened a LAQ to the public, using a Gammill Statler Stitcher.
Her hand appliqued quilts are to die for - will try to get a couple of pics of one of her Baltimore Album's that's hanging in her shop and share those as well. She has won many ribbons over the years with her work.
I also used this quilt on my bed for several years and it is a beauty in real life.
Funny thing - before she got the LA machine - I wasn't even interested in making quilts. Just couldn't see me spending that much time working on one project. Now I can't make the tops fast enough to start working on the quilting design lol.

Your quilt is beautiful. My DD wants a quilt that color for her new house so I am looking for fabric to do one for her.
