Default Group Quilt

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to post a picture of this quilt made by the ladies of one of my quilt groups..... normally I wouldn’t post something like this, but I am amazed by some of the members of this group. The group members have a range of abilities, yet everyone tried... but I was most humbled by our member who is almost completely blind, who used an array of magnifiers and lights, but refuses to give up the hobby she loves...... it is not perfect, but it was made with love.

A lot of love in that quilt. It is beautiful as is every person who worked their magic on those stars. What will be the future of the quilt?

Not perfect?!! Oh, yes it is! Beauty and love shines through it. Thanks for the story of how it was made.

Hi Summitbay,

Thank you for your kind words... the quilt will be raffled and the proceeds will go to St Mary's of Woolpit, Suffolk, UK. It is a church very near where our group meets and will try to make a donation to the church every year.

Hugs

Caroline
