That was so interesting. Lots of fun looking and choosing. Some really creative work there.
My fave was # 6. I also liked yours and also the treble clef..also # 9. Since I live near the ocean, I appreciated #15...nice take on the bar theme.
Thanks so much for this. It made me smile and chuckle.

Isn't it interesting how much we are different in our interpretations of one simple word? I liked the "bars behind bars", which reminded me of Chopped the cooking show. They give added credit for someone who uses the secret ingredient in two ways.

What is the old saying? Different Strokes, Different Folks. It certainly applies here.

Thank you for showing us all of the entries into your challenge. It is so much fun to see the creativity of a group of people who go all sorts of directions with a single word or concept. Great quilts. Such a wide spectrum of ideas. Our guild is doing an interesting challenge idea. We were presented with a bag full of markers and we had to choose three and make the project with those three colors (choose fabric in those three colors) plus black, white or off white. Can't wait to see the entries.

Thanks for the themed quilt show, but please don't make me pick a favorite (although I agree with your thoughts on the candy bars!).

I kept waiting to see if someone had quilted a pic of a pub. That was the first thing that came to my mind. Even though I have never been in one, they are all around.
