I am making this quilt too. It is kind of a difficult quilt to make, but I am caught up with all of the blocks at this point. Your quilt is beautiful.

All of you who are interested..buy the WHOLE quilt at once rather than BOM. ($336 vs $149) At least 1/2 the cost (with all that monthly shipping, etc) and it won't take more than a year to finish! I got mine on-line at the Cotton Club. Fabric Depot also has it. It's called "American Beauty" by Marti Michell.

The Rooster is "Romancing Red" by Debi Hubbs from the Bigfork Bay Cotton Co. and found at my local Fabric Depot

I could certainly live what that beauty, too!!! It's absolutely gorgeous. And it's even in my favorite colors and prints.

If you can do your avatar quilt then you sure as heck can do this one! Hint for sashing: I didn't trim the ends of the green stripe to a point, used the square end to align the pink points better. Wish I'd though of that a lot sooner!

Go for it!

Shop on-line for price!!! And you can get the whole kit for a lot less (1/2) and be finished sooner! (Sorry LQS, but I'm on a VERY strict budget)

I'm making the same quilt as a BOM. However, I chose a black background instead of the light.

I love how the strips/stars come together among the field of flowers. Beautiful Quilt.
