    Absolutely adorable, what a lovely quilt for your soon to arrive granddaughter. I love the pattern and the fabrics you chose are so cheerful and pretty. My granddaughter is getting married on 12/23. Maybe if I start now I could make one like yours for her first baby (not that that's happening any time soon!)

    It is needle turned, although I find a wet wooden toothpick works better. I also tried her starch method using heat proof template plastic and a tiny iron for some of the pieces. Very time consuming and labor intensive, but so easy to stitch down. I just had to determine which ones were worth the time to use that method.
