    Very interesting projects!
An artist acquaintance of mine did a number of hands (in acrylics) but they are with the thumb and little finger up. It's the Hamsa hand and might be an alternate one for you to try. You probably can google images to see what it looks like…if you're inclined.

Love what you did, Lynnie. Both are so special.

I always get excited to see what you have created with the selvages, they are always incredible! I decided a while back to start collecting the selvages and it sadly became overwhelming so I threw them out, sorry!

They are both nice but especially like the hand one. very clever and unique. Probably one of a kind.

Very interesting! Have you seen the quilt of a giant fingerprint? I think it was selvages too.

Really neat quilts! Someday I hope to get to work with all the ones I've been saving.

Really like the looks of these quilts! So beautiful and clever. Many times I’ve wished I had saved selvedges.
