    hate these charms!

I really dislike pink. Naturally, when I won a prize last month, it was good quality pink charms and a coffee cup, which my DH claimed immediately. I knew if I did not use them immediately, they would go into the scrap bin. Of course, my ego demanded that I do something relatively nice. This quilt is the second. the first goes to a foster child. This will be a comfort quilt for someone ill or injured in our little valley. I went to our local dry good store to buy backing and was given the perfect pink fabric to back both quilts. It was a misprint and had been taking up space for quite a while. Sorry, it is upside down.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Even though you do not favor pink you did a great job of using it in a lovely way. Someone will just love this quilt-just not you.

Good Job! I do the same thing with quilts I don't particularly like. I give them to our Guild's Community Quilts. Someone somewhere will absolutely love your quilt!

For one who dislikes pink, you did a really sweet quilt. Happy your ego got the best of you and the recipient will be ever so grateful.

I hope it will be cherished. A guild sister is quilting it for me, then it will go to someone needing a comfort quilt. It is such a girly quilt that my current project is for a guy.

I hope you know you will certainly put a large smile on someone's face when they receive this quilt. Even tho you did not care for this fabric color, you did a wonderful job at making it into something beautiful and full of life. We have 2 things in common, both in NorCal and both really dislike pink! That said, I think the quilt is really cute...great job pushing through! Some times I think working outside our own box can be even more gratifying!
