Retraining myself to knit without the use of my left thumb was a real struggle but I've gotten better with time even though I can't knit nearly as fast as I used to. Here are a few of my recent favorites.

Hats are fun to knit, aren't they? Glad you can do it again.

Your hats are beautiful. I feel your pain about learning to do it without using your thumb. I've had to retrain myself to crochet without moving my thumb. Cold weather is no fun on the joints.

Very impressive. I hope the loss of use of your thumb is temporary. If not, your will to get along without it is admirable. Your hats are nice too.
