    We just took a 12 hour trip (one way) to Missouri and I took along a quilt to hand-stitch the binding. Got it done so fast that I wished I had taken the other that needs binding. I guess it does take longer to sew while watching TV.

    Tell her it is a beautiful quilt, would love to see the whole thing.
    It also makes a wonderful way to strike up a conversation with
    another quilter. I was making yoyo's in a Dr.'s office while
    waiting on a friend and a little boy said to his Mom "What is she
    doing?" So I explained that I was making yo yo's for a lady that
    sells crafts, patterns and etc. He had never seen anyone do hand
    sewing before...it is so nice to teach young people about sewing
    and quilting.
