Absolutely fabulous idea, thank you for sharing!! Your hearth runner is stunning!! I am also one of those Nana's that throws a blanket over the hearth for my little grandkidlets.. not any more!! Thank you so much for sharing you idea!!

Thanks for sharing. I have a nine month old that lives with me. She is at the pull up stage. Soon to be walking. Looks like a project I need to start very soon. I can't move dishes, etc. fast enough. Lots breaking. I don't want her hurt. Nice project.
