Heirloom Whole Cloth Quilting - In Progress

Just sharing with my Quilting Board pals - I mentioned I was inspired to do a whole cloth after that little baby quilt I had been working on. I spent most of yesterday marking this top and today I spent a few hours quilting it. My littlest wasn't feeling good so it was hard to find time to work on it but in the time I did find I was able to get quite a hunk quilted.

    Here are some progress pictures!

Oh, Golly that is so beautiful. I wish I could do just a little spot like some of that. You are very, very good at quilting this.

That is absolutely fantabulous! You've got me mixing my words for a better expression now! That is so beautiful! I wish I had the patience to hand quilt like you do. It is stunning! I find it difficult completing the last side of the last border of my nephew's quilt and I can say my quilting cannot be compared to your lovely work. Thank you for sharing.

When it seems like the world is falling to pieces remember that the pieces are falling into place. We are nearing closer to the End Times.

Yes, well, I got it at the end of January. So I've had it nearing four months now - and outrageous is a huge compliment!!! Thank you!! It's been a beast to get the hang of!

Thank you so much for your great compliments. This was quilted on a long arm though, not hand quilted...but I have seen some ladies who CAN hand quilt like this, and THAT truly is amazing! I don't have that kind of patience either!!! This was still quite time consuming, however, just 1/4 of what I have done here would have taken me most of the day on my domestic and this is probably four or five hours worth of quilting on my long arm just to get to this point.
