I just love the design and colors. I saved a copy of the quilt to my Photos so I can admire the hand-quilting as well. Would love to have Helen as my best friend to help me put colors together.

Helen, you did a fabulous job ... that's not an easy pattern either. Is quilting popular in Australia?

This is absolutely beautiful. As I zoomed in for a closeup look of the hand quilting, I noticed on my computer it said"Helen's SECOND quilt?? My gosh, that is absolutely amazing! The pattern alone is a difficult one and to see it looking so perfect? color choices supreme, piecing such as it is? wonderful. I was interested in her hand quilting because I am one too.Helen is so good at it.I hope she is proud of her work, for she needs to be for sure. Thank you so much for sharing this spectacular quilt.

Helen, I like all what you did to this quilt, I also hand quilt, I love all the patterns of the 8 pt star, and I love the bright colors, we need some of the bright colors and cheer to get us thru this cold weather... we were in Apacher Junction for the month of Jan. , I had to keep reminding myself that it was winter not summer back in Iowa Keep the good work and cheerful quilts coming. We love to see all the beautiful quilts on this GB,
