Use that plaid! That's awesome with it.

I vote for the gold, then plaid also. Very cute kitty quilt.

I like the plaid, but before I saw your choices, I was thinking that something darker would look nice, like a narrow dark brown and then a rust to pick up the colour in the kitties.
I agree with this statement made by someone earlier.

I would definitely put a border on to frame it. I like #1.

Nope, no more borders needed. It is crying out for some kind of fancy quilting or applique in the white blocks. Your quilt is wonderful.

I like the idea of another border. But I think differently than most of the others have. I would use the plaid for another border the size of the brown one you have on there then a wider one from the gold with the little print. Then bind with more of the plaid cut on the bias if you can. Or straight cut the plaid. I think the plaid binding would really finish it off!!

I am thinking differently than most of the others. I would do a narrow binding out of the plaid then do a wider one out of either one of the golds. Then use the plaid again for the binding. You could even cut the plaid on the bias if you have enough. If not, it would still look great cut on straight of grain. Post again when you finish. Love the kitties!
