I love it. It will be beautiful when finished. Think about how happy your sister will be with it as you sew and working on it will be more enjoyable.

OK, I get that you don't like the colors yourself. But, when you buy a gift for someone else, do you get them what YOU want, or do you get them what you know THEY will want? Same principle. Otherwise you are not saying "I'll make you a quilt in the colors and pattern you choose", you are saying "I'll make you a quilt, but only if I like the colors and pattern you choose". See the difference?

BTW, I agree that the colors are wonderful, and that the finished product will be gorgeous. Hang in there, you're a good sister!

I think it is beautiful. Love the colors.

A couple of years ago my DS and DDIL bought fabric and picked out a pattern for a quilt they wanted me to make. I had the same feeling, I didn't like the pattern nor the fabrics they had picked. I still didn't like it when it was all finished, but they loved it. To each his own.

I think it will turn out pretty. Makes me think of a kalidescope. I'm pretty sure I didn't spell that right.

everyone has different taste...that is what makes everyone sew special....

I really like the fabric, maybe not my fist choice but if your sister loves it...then make and enjoy the fact that she will charish it forever.

I think it's kinda pretty, a little busy for me, but pretty none the less. I think you should probably go with her wishes if you let them pick the fabric and the pattern already and just push through it.

I think it's beautiful, not everyone has the same taste, remember something you love might be something she hates. Keep going, I think it will turn out to be a spectacular quilt
