Mega Hugs, don't worry it looks beautiful. Who is going to put their eyes 2" from a quilt to check it out, only the quilt (guilt) police and from what I hear they aren't in your part of the country. Give to your neice and I know she'll love it. May in Jersey

I'm holding a bunch of pillowcases that our group made for kids in hospitals, ConKerrCancer.org. We began the project about 2 1/2 years ago and have made and given away about 1500 pillowcases. May

Thinking about your quilt top....don't judge it to harshly...think of it as a bright and beautiful encouragement. I thought it was lovely and could only see the time it took you to help finish it. After all, the joy in a race is the pleasure of the process of walking or running, and in this case finishing up. What a blessing you are to help and get this finished. 99% of all whom see this quilt will love it, and really know it had to be made with love, as you gave of your time....and you shareed yourself with your sister's burden of getting it finished! And as for the quilt police.....well, don't sign up....less judgement on our quilt tops will mean we can get more of them done, heh?

It's pretty. The colors are great. The design is flowing and attractive.

Off hand, I don't see the glitch -

But - if it is really troubling you and not TOO much bother to fix whatever it is, fix it. At this point, what are another few hours on it?

If you can live with it, let it be.

Is it your sister or your niece that has the dementia?
That is always such a sad and challenging condition.

You are so sweet to take over finishing this project. (I'm not so great at finishing my own - much less what someone else started!) There may already have been "quirks" in the cutting or sewing when you took over.

    ((hug))

I have made nearly 50 quilts (many of which were for the American Hero Quilts) I have yet to make a perfect quilt. Each and everyone has something I am not happy with and you know I think I am the only one who is aware of it. The colors are bright and beautiful. She will love it and that is why you made it. NO quilt police. Be happy with yourself for making a special quilt for a special person and feel the love!!!

A talented LAQ can do miracles.

A friend of mine made a top that had so many waves in it I almost got seasick - and when she got it back - a miracle had been done. It looked good.
