Help---I need a hug!!!!!
#13
Aww thank you --you are all lovely and thanks for the hugs and comments.
I suppose I could unpick some but I seem to have been unpicking most of the time,I wouldn't care but it's laid on top of my first quilt and that seemed to go together so easy.
My sister was a lovely precise type of stitcher maybe that's why I am worrying.

I would give anything to have quilt done by my mother whether she completed it or her sister.
Stop being so harsh on yourself. Give it to her with a smile and a hug.
She will be forever grateful especially if mom gets to the point she does not remember who her DD is. Then DD can wrap herself up in the quilt and cry, laugh, sob, pout, whatever her heart desires and be wrapped in the love of her mother and her aunt.

Here's a hug. but you are being really hard on your self. It is beautiful. Nice colors , great pattern..... I think you really want to you could take out some of the stiches and reposition and sew.
I always see the one flaw in my quilts and its like they scream at me. So ... if you need to quite the voices .... go for it with seam ripper in hand!

seems to me that in a pattern like this, it would be more important for the colours to line up than the seams. in the photo of the entire quilt, the pattern very fluid, and looks perfect! i wouldn't worry about it - it is beautiful.
