    #3 frames the quilt nicely with the same weight as the piecing. I think 1 is too heavy and 2 is too light. #3 is GREAT!

    I think I like the third one best. It's a bit lighter in feel. But the first one is also very nice.

    I was going to say #3 but now I like your new option #4. I agree that it sorta combines the best of #1 and #3. Either way it is a beautiful quilt!
