I'd go with a French Braid. You can make them look very modern by creating smaller braids and making bigger blocks out of them. And they are pretty simple.

I hadn't thought of a French Braid. Thanks! I'll go looking for some images. Do you have one in particular that you like?

Whatever you chose to do, it will be beautiful. The fabrics are lovely.

I am working on this pattern for my son right now. I am using blue and yellow with yellow for the center and then blue radiating out from the center starting with light blue with the final round being a very dark navy - that is how I see it working with your fabrics - green in the center the go from pink to purple around it. just my thoughts.

I have that line of fabric..I have used it for many things..purses...quilts...shirts...LOL. I just love "Eva" the name of that line.

I bento box would be pretty...here is a link to directions

But It would also look nice as a Yellow brick road

This quilt would look cute! Very quick and easy too!
But if that doesn't work for you ..Moda has other cute patterns (modern) patterns..even some using that line of fabric.

Let me see if I understand...instead of alternating boxes like the green box first, then purple around that, then green around that...are you saying, start with green in the center of the box progressing out to the purple and then make all the boxes like that? I would be putting in a few more strips of color in each box like that. I could see this as being really pretty.
