You did a great job. I'm not sure I would ever have agreed to take on a project like that. It would probably have been easier to start from scratch and make a new quilt. Hopefully they will take better care of the repaired one than they did of the original.

Be sure to give him a "how to take care of your quilt" note as well as the quilt that you did wonders with. I would never have attempted such a quilt!

I can't imagine even contemplating doing something like this and you have done a super-fantastic-unbelieveable job! He is so lucky to have found you. I am in awe of what you have accomplished with it!

His quilt looks like it was well loved by an active growing boy. You are just wonderful to help save his quilt. You are now an official "Quilting Angel" for your kindness.

Wow, that quilt is in bad shape, even worse than hte one that I'm trying to fix now. The one I'm working on got torn up by two different dogs, and needs to be made smaller.
You are doing a good job on the quilt

Boy, he's one lucky guy to have you do that for him. Great job. Well done.

You are a brave woman. I would have looked at it and said "no way", but you looked at that well loved quilt, saw the beauty beneath and gave it new life. You did a fantastic job, it should definitely be good for at least another 24 years.
