I'm brand new to this message board but I had a comment. First I love love love your light house quilt!!! It looks good to me. I like Elenor Burns 25 mile rule--Hang your quilt on the door and drive by going 25mph-if you can't see the flaws it's good! Also when you are curled up in a special quilt, there are no flaws.

Looks good...didnt know the 25 mile rule but for anything I make...I think it would have to be 50 miles. Only God is perfect, I think it is beautiful. I say just enjoy it.

My favorite trick when i can't get a quilt to be perfectly squared up is to not try to. I just cut all around the quilt in a wavy kind of design- almost like scallops- and then bind it. It looks " artistic". Not sure if it will work with your particular problem, but the quilt is beautiful and worth trying anything.

THANK YOU, everyone, for your suggestions, and especially your compliments!!! I have decided to just "suck it up" (as hubby says),
bind it as is, and put it back up on it's hanger.

Now I just have to find that darn blue fabric in the mountain of my stash! :P

The blocks with the large designs (top and bottom on the left and center on the right) are panels. The other blocks are pieces that hubby and I put together in a random kind of way that we thought looked pretty good.

Thanks again for all the comments and encouragement!!!
