help with pp hound
#1
I don't post very often and never posted pictures before but could use some guidance. I am a fairly new quilter and most of my projects are donated to raise money for basset hound rescue. I posted pictures of 2 projects from last year, the quilt I made in my beginner's quilting class and one of the stuffed hounds I've been making for several years. I did get brave and used a D9p instead of my usual nine patch. The paper pieced hound is yesterday's project for this year's fundraiser. I had done a pp feathered star in a class last year and apparently forgotten most of what I learned but I kept doing it over until I got it. The instructions were really vague for the hound and I had to try and identify body parts by trial and error. If you'll notice what I decided after was his foot is green. I'm sticking to the story that the grass had just been cut. Anyway my goal is to use the hound block as a medallion on the back of a denim jacket but I'm not sure how to accomplish this in the easiest way. Any suggestions are welcome.

wee Gracie Allen is very happy everyone thinks she's cute. Since I'm stubborn and needed to prove it really doesn't take an entire day to make a pp hound I made another one. Only had to redo 2 seams this time. More whimsical, this is more of what I was aiming for. I'm also adding a picture of one of the shower curtains I appliqued for last year's fundraiser and a jacket I made for the same Woofle last year.
