Love scrappies! It looks great, but I agree with taking out the very light ones. It's gonna be awesome! Be sure to post it when you're done!

Love your quilt. I have been working on one but have stoped because I can't figure out how to do squares. Do tou cut them in triangles? Thanks for any help

I think it is looking really nice. If you are having difficulty with the visual aspect of the light colors, remove them if you even suspect they will continue to bother you. But to me, I like the mix as it gives it depth and dimension.

Thanks everyone for your advice on my quilt...

A1penny I never thought of squinting to see how the light colors look ...I can see this after sitting at my computer and squinting at the picture... I think my Hubby thought that I lost it... LOL

maybe I will try and lay it out without the lighter squares, maybe the pattern would look better..

This is my first scarppy quilt so I really didn't know how it should look..
