Yes, I think you should take out the light ones that just fade into the white background, it spoils the over-all effect. i just finished a big quilt with 84 blocks, but I had made 106. I ended up
taking out the extra light ones......! I had enough of the light ones to make a tiny light quilt. But, with the brighter colors you're using the light ones do nothing for the design.
Your colors and pattern are very, very nice, just get out those that just fade away!
I just looked at your photo again......if you squint and look at it and the block has disappeared, take it out. I see a pale pink, a cream near the pillow, and a few others that just don't "do anything" for the design. Your instinct was right on, get out the too lights.
I agree with A1Penny on this - the darker ones make a much nicer contrast with your background imo.

I think it looks great. It will look beautiful when it's quilted.
