Those quilts are so lovely Patsy and such a kind thoughtful thing for you to do. So sad, that poor woman, I'm sure your quilts will bring her comfort.

Cute story about the train block.....my DGD is 7....she asked me "Gramma whats this blue stuff" I told her it's the smoke coming out of the stack on the train.....She said "Well, a toy train wouldn't have real smoke coming out of it!" LOL I explained to her that I had this big blank spot on the block and needed something to quilt around so I added the smoke! LOL

The quilts are awesome! Your design for the baby quilt is adorable! I'm so sorry for the family, but I know your caring and handiwork will bring some comfort. What treasures! Good luck with your new projects! Sounds like you'll have a busy holiday season! Best wishes!

My thought and prayers are with you and the family....What a heartbreaking story. You have done an absolute wonderful job on designing and sewing his quilt. I am sure it will be a family treasure for years to come. Please send out a HUG from this old Nanny, sometimes a HUG works miracles. My heart aches for her and her family. She is very fortunate to have a true friend in you.
    Prayers and thoughts, Nanny Hunt
