I am not sure how many squares are in it. the blocks are 2" it is being made for a queen size bed.. I have been working on it fro about 2 1/2 weeks.. Not to bad.. I worked on it when I wasn't working..

Thank you Sue.. I put strips together and then cut those into strips, sorted and then sewed more strips together.. It is supposed to be a Bargello..
