Your mom is adorable! It's so great that you've found something that you can enjoy doing together--treasure your time with her.

talk about role reversal! you must feel like she felt when you were a child and enjoyed something she taught you, I think it's wonderful.

What a great pix of mom! What an infectious smile she has!!
Can I be adopted? ;)
Alas...my mom is gone too. She sewed, knitted, crocheted, tatted, hairpin laced..all that stuff. Miss doing that with her.

Hang on to her, she's a special lady!

That is so nice! Great memories to have!! I have to admit that I am a little envious of the mom-daughter relationships, my mom passed away when I was 2, she was 39, so I've never had that relationship. Enjoy it! !!

That is just too sweet! Brought tears to my eyes. My Mom taught me to sew when I was small, though she never did quilt. As an adult, I did not live close to my parents, though after my Mom died at 83, my Dad lived with me for 7 years before his death at 92. I loved those 7 years and still miss him - he has been gone 10 years. So glad your Mom is keeping busy!

AAwwwww, what great pics of your Mom. I lost my Mom when she was 61...way tooo young. She taught me to sew when I was 8, but of course, piano came along, then horses, then boys, then horses, then just life...so I've forgotten all I ever learned from her in that department. I didn't learn to quilt until a couple of years ago. In Nov. it will be 10 yrs. since I lost Mom. I'll always miss her...soooo I think its great that you get to share this time with your Mom. Give her a huge hug and kiss from me!
