    Talking Here's my latest creation......

A friend of mine and her boyfriend asked me to make a quilt for her dad who's suffering from his second bout of lung cancer. The only requirement was that it was long enough for him to tuck in under his chin and feet and was a Pittsburgh Steeler quilt.

Well, here it is! I'm so pleased with the way it turned out. Especially the border. I would love to see his expression when he receives it.

The pattern is Cheaper by the Dozen by Atkinson Designs. I use the same pattern but smaller (called Cheaper by the Half Dozen for my charity quilts.)

    Thanks for looking.

Thanks all for the kind words, prayers and good wishes. I will certainly pass the prayers along. I found the fabric at either Amazon or Fabric.com.

It was a blast to make. Didn't take too long to finish. Only problem I have is the fact I don't have a long table to lay it out and sandwich it. I went to my husband's office and used a conference table. The table was in sections and didn't have square ends. And for this size quilt it took a little of crawling on the floor to tape my shower curtain to the underneath side.

Thanks again for the wonderful comments and prayers!

    Hugs!
