What a great idea! We don't play cards much anymore...but... I really think the sky is the limit with this pattern (as lalaland showed in the 3 examples she posted in her thread). The "cherries jubilee" I made is 23"x23". The next one will be larger. I just kind of sewed this one up quick - size wise it's more of a glorified candle mat...or a GIANT MUG RUG...lolol

I love your topper--good job and pretty fabrics. I hate for the teacher in me to show, but the topper is actually an octagon--8 sided. A hexagon has 6 sides like the pieces in grandmother'f flower garden. But it is called a hexagon on the tut.
