Thank you Ladies!!
It really was fun and easy!
I feel I need to give proper credit to the original link that got me "hooked" on these.

There ya go... now you know what I know. This was all I used to make the "topper" that I posted. I did do some light quilting on it that does not show. It's got 3 rows of top stitching, and I sewed a large 4 line grid in the center for batting stability. It simply doesn't show.
Thank you again lalaland! This was just WHAT I needed to start off my year!

This was soooo easy I was chuckling. I can't wait to MAKE MORE!!
Lalaland..
I also just sewed right sides together, and flipped them inside out. I don't mind doing bindings, but I wanted to keep these simple and fast. ALSO.. I used 505 Basting spray on them and it was even FASTER!
I'm 100% SOLD on spray basting. I don't know as I would be brave enough to try it on a lg. lap warmer or full sized quilt, but it's a major time saver to use it on wall hangings, table toppers, table runners.. mug rugs etc. I do NOT spray it in the house! I put the item to be sprayed in the appropriate size box (or on a large piece of stiff cardboard) and step out to the back porch. I even did this when it was below freezing outside.. I just didn't dally outside. Out......zoooooooom... in!...lol
