    I like the way you swapped the borders out. I didn't on mine - every time i look at it, it looks like its waving at me!

    I found a PDF pattern on Etsy - - just do a search for cabbage patch doll hats.......apparently they're all the deal this year. I have another one that I'm doing for another great niece......they're kind of fun! And easy! My crochet skills are nothing to brag about!

    I'd like to take credit for "the vision" - - but I saw it done the way I did it as a sample in one of our local quilt shops. I just liked the deeper colored borders. I'd already bought the other border fabric so I used that in strips on the back.
