yeah mistakes happen, but if you look at it with a fresh eye all you will see is how beautiful it is. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I think you did a good job! FMQing is hard. I would only suggest that you use a thinner thread for FMQing. I think a 50wt or 60wt would give you more freedom to move around since the direction changes would be smoother and finer. Keep up the good work!

I like it!! our FMQ is just fine...I just took a class last week on FMQ and.....WELL.....Don't know if I'll be doing that again...LOL

I really like both sides. A gal in our guild gave us lessons on FMQ. She is a true artist and wins in national competitions. She suggests sitting with a paper and pencil and practice the movements on paper that you would be making on the quilt. Like the excercises we did drawing circles, etc when we were learning cursive writing.
