Thanks so much for all your sugestions. It may be a while before I get the quilting done. We have a family medical emergency (not baby related) and that comes first.

Maybe spirals inside the circles and similar idea inside the blocks, but in square pattern? Very cute!

Not my style at all, but very very good. I would be inclined to do SiTD then FMQ hearts and zigzags.
