I was torn between gold and varigated... Finally went with varigated. Probably on't see it until the New Year, though - they have 2-3 MONTH turnaround normally, this time of year it can get even longer. That's okay, I'm ready for it to be away from me for a while.

Did you post a picture of yours after quilting? I'd love to see it. What did you choose for a quilting pattern? As it is sooo busy, I asked for an overall meandering pattern, not too close.

I, too, long for those old-fashioned Christmases with only little, handmade gifts, but lots of wonderful company and great food! I think your quilt is fabulous, and I'm so glad you posted your picture!

Here is the one that I made. My LAQ used an all over pattern of Berries and Leaves. It is stunning.

Because I primarily made it with scraps, I have stories on most of the fabrics used. It took me forever to make because it was so complicated and had so many pieces.
