You (all of you who hand quilt) have so much patience and skill, and I applaud you for it. I have a quilt started by an now deceased member of our guild. She was hand quilting it, and I know that I should finish it, and I want to do that to honor her, but so far I have not worked up the courage to start it.

I love your quilt. My DM did everything on her quilts by hand and I loved how they turned out. My RA keeps me from hand quilting but I love seeing those that others have done.

I understand what you are saying! Takes SOOOOO much time. But it was started that way, so I am making myself finish it my hand. I will say though, hand quilting is not really for me. I can get so much more done on the machine. but I am enjoying something different for a change forsure!

I LOVE how hand quilted ones look!!! To me they have a totally different story than machine ones!

I am working on my first one now. Still have about ten to do then I can start quilting. It is my favorite quilt pattern. I hand quilted two my mother left when she passed. So special.
