and she's beeeee-uuu-ti ful!! I've got her sitting in my living room just so I can sit and grin.
Two son's were going through their mother's house, over the last 3.5 yrs since her passing, and slowly putting items on craigslist. They finally decided on the treadle. I jumped!! She was in good condition to start with so I lucked out. Machine head...not so much.
As I'm oooh'ing and ahhhh'ing over it, one of the son's mentions he's keeping one of her other machines. Takes me into the original sewing room and pulls out a Rocketeer. I immediately mentioned if he ever decides to sell it, I've got dibs =). Was in pristine condition.

Anyway, back to "Catherine Elizabeth", named after their mother and grandmother.....I'm so very proud!!!!

8+ hrs with Howard and his fumes, (outside too) I'm surprised I can still spell my own name.

    Thank you
