there seems to be some flowers on the bushes in the foreground. Maybe a random floral or tropical print to frame and back it?

shadowbox? or the one that looks like you're looking through a window and see the panel through the panes.... yellows and light greens?

I tried laying some batiks around it but neither of us was thrilled with the texture. It's hard to see in here but the panel is pretty starchy and rough to the feel, even after a few washings. My daughter is "sleeping on it" when it comes to the creams. She likes the purples but nothing too green or brown. Yes, she's my picky one!

Maybe you could make pinwheels in those colors around the panel

Remember Faye Ray! Her acting partner was a giant gorilla but she still let everyone know she was all woman. Think of what she might put on a dorm room bed and work back from there.

I think I would applique some bows and ribbons onto the dinosaurs necks and maybe a cut handbag here and there...be creative! I have done several that way for my dgd. Have fun!!!

girly fabrics will help. My eye sees the orangy tones, green, purple -- perhaps a shade of coral. pale yellow, too.
