Just finishing up the top for my Mom and Dad's Christmas present, just abit more embroidery to do. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for quilting? Open to any suggestions and the simpler the better! LOL This quilt will have Mom and Dad's name in the middle, then brother, sister and I and our spouses, then the grandkids and great grandkids around the outside. Kept all embroidery off the outside squares though because I don't know if I will put a border on it or not. I'm open to any suggestions about that too!
Thanks ladies and gents for any ideas!!

put floral embroidery in 4 corners and still have to put in Mom and Dad name

Any ideas for a border would also be appreciated. Trying to decide on plain border, pattern border or none at all.

Maybe hearts or flowers? Something light and springy since the quilt feels really light and springy to me

I love your quilt…it is so soft and lovely! I am not an expert by any means, but I think you could do either a soft solid color or floral for your borders. Do you have enough of the green fabric left? I agree that you would want to keep the quilting simple…how about stitch in the ditch with an invisible thread. Hold different fabrics to your quilt stand back and see what you like. You have proven to have a good eye, so I am sure you will find just the right fabric for your borders. I would love to see it again when completed. Congratulations on a beautiful job!

It is beautiful. Love the embroidery.

What color do you want to pop out, that is the color border to put on.
