boy the ideas I find on here just keep getting more and more creative. I never would have thought of an 18 x 18 ironing board That be great for those of us that work in small sewing spaces....thanks board!!

A small ironing board is so useful! I made mine from the cardboard inner of a fabric bale from a quilt shop. They just throw them away when the fabric is all sold. I cover it with an old blanket bit and then sew a jacket on it. I've recently recovered one and added a handle to carry it to workshops and also a sleeve down one side to carry my long rotary ruler.

Curious .... does it have enough "heat" to go thru the layers when you are paper piecing?
