    Hubby's birthday present

I finished piecing this throw this morning for my DH's birthday. I have to find the perfect fabric for the backing, then I will quilt it. I am going to put a hanging sleeve on the back, so he can hang it in his study during the warm seasons. (not like we have had a cold winter here this year.) It is a kit from F & P.

That is great. My hubby would like that too as he is a joiner. Great job.

Very nice. I have seen the "wood" fabric, but wasn't sure how it would look in a quilt and now, thanks to you, I know. It looks wonderful. Nice job.

I think the kit is still available from Fons and Porter. It comes with directions, panel, and fabric for the front and binding. Check their web site.

Take a look at the hammers & nails & the Mr. Fixit ones by scrolling through these for your backing.
Great job on the top! http://www.favoritefabric.com/cgi/co...ns_fabric.html
