Kelly, I love that you made your hubby his very own woobie. He'll love it because it's from the heart. Be sure to take care of you, too. Many times care givers fail to take care of themselves. God bless you both and I'll put you both on my prayer list to have your wants & needs taken card of.

Hurry and get the binding on it, this will also bring him some comfort. Very pretty and so thoughtful of you to make it for him. Don't think about how you hate to sew the binding, just think how much he will appreciate it.

Thanks ladies for all the kind words and prayers :-)
I sewed the binding on today. I tied it with a pretty bow and it is ready to give to him :-) I think I'm getting a little better with the binding... it wasn't so bad this time. I even got the binding on the baby quilt I made earlier in the week.

Looks like a very nice quilt and will be comforting. Prayers and Hugs to you both enjoy every day he will enjoy your quilt and thoughtfulness. The helicopters are a good touch with the Air Force emblem. Maybe he got sick from some chemicals they used when he flew. My godmother's son got sick at an early age also from some chemicals he was only 40 when he passed. He had all kinds of treatments. Is there any new things that they can do for your hubby. I hope he has good Dr's. he's so young. Hope you enjoy the holiday together as much as possible. Be thinking of you both. Sue
