    Love the colors!

 Thanks ever so much girls. Your very sweet to say all those wonderful things about the quilt top. Hubby keeps coming up stairs to see if I have finished it ....LOL! He has no clue that it will take a while to quilt it after I buy the batting.

You girls are right though about him bragging to the guys about it. He went out to run errands this morning and has told a few of his buddies about it, even his barber. Ha ha ha ha hahaha ha ... Who Knew? Gee I think he might be a little easier on me now when I buy fabric and such. I should have thought of this sooner!

Dodie .. A big special thanks for the pattern and the fabric. Even though I didn't use the fabric. I had everything but the grey. I will have to make something else to use up the things you sent. Gift bags?? Pillows?? Who knows. Anyway you are a dear to have sent it to me. Thanks so much. :D I was really stumped as to how to set this to show off those animals. And a compliment coming from a teacher is music to my ears.

    Thanks girls,
I am going to work on finishing up the top tomorrow. Then it will be a shopping trip to buy the batting.
I am looking forward to finishing it too. I bumped this one up from others I have waiting on me. :D

Really crisp and masculine design....no wonder he's so pleased! It never ceases to amaze me how talented the quilters on this forum are. Thanks for sharing.

This is beautiful. Makes me think of quiet hunting weekends at a cabin somewhere. I'm sure your DH is thrilled to bits. What kind of border are you thinking of adding?? How big will it be all done?

I have been thinking about it this afternoon. I am gong to just finish it up with a five and a half inch border with the blue as cornerstones (per hubby's request). This will make it finish at 66 and a quarter inch square. A little big for a wall hanging, but I have a space to put it. Now I am going to have to think about the quilting designs where and what I want and how it will relate to the qult as a whole.
I have a feeling this one should take me some time to finish...
