I am so listening to all of you about the piano border. This idea is now in the wind.

I think that it would look beautiful with or without a border so I’m no help. I did want to say that you made a gorgeous quilt.

Just lovely with all the colors. I'm with the majority in thinking it stands on its own, or possibly a small white border with a colorful binding. Thanks for sharing one of my favorite patterns.

Love your quilt. I think there are different possibilities.
Either bind it like it is or add a small white border then a larger
darker border in one of the fabrics used in your quilt.
Or put a large white border and bind.

I'd call it good. If you want a border I'd do a plain border and bind. I think a piano key in all those colors would detract from all the vibrancy of colors in the quilt. Love all your bright colors. Nice job.

I love your quilt! I would add a stop border using the background color, then the piano key. You could add the solid border then make a short section of the pieced border and audition it to make your final decision.
