The border was called "garden maze" and I used a paper piecing method that I found online. Later I found a different pattern for the same border at www.quilterscache.com and wished I had used that version. It just looked easier/better, so I would suggest that one. Marcia always has great patterns! I wish I had looked there first!

I finished the binding this evening....took all day to hand sew it down. I didn't quilt this one as dense but it is soft and comfy the way it is. It will travel quite a few miles this week as I go home on a business trip and it is gifted to my nephew.
